We are delighted to announce that Rev. Kate Bottley will lead the Service on Tuesday morning.

                                                                                                                                                                     

The Reverend Kate Bottley is an Anglican priest based in North Nottinghamshire. As well as being a self-supporting associate minister at her parish church, Kate is a writer and broadcaster.

Kate has written for the Guardian, the Independent and Radio Times. She is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 2’s Pause for Thought on the Chris Evans’ Breakfast Show and presents the station’s ‘The Sunday Hour’. Kate is a regular presenter on BBC One’s ‘Songs of Praise’. In 2016 Kate presented BBC One’s hour-long flag ship Easter programme ‘In the footsteps of Judas’. Kate has also taken part in Celebrity Mastermind, Celebrity Masterchef, Gogglebox and 8/10 cats.                    

We are also delighted to confirm that Dame Esther Rantzen DBE has agreed to speak to Conference about the charity The Silver Line.

Dame Esther Louise Rantzen DBE (born 22 June 1940) is an English journalist and television presenter, best known for presenting the hit BBC television series That's Life! for 21 years, from 1973 until 1994. She is well known for her work with various charitable causes. She founded the charities ChildLine, promoting child protection, which she set up in 1986, and   The Silver Line, designed to combat loneliness, which she set up in 2012.         

                                                                                                                                                                                       

                                                        

Tuesday Evening's Entertainment will be Andrew Grisewood, a Floral Entertainer:-

Wednesday Evening's Entertainment is The Amazing Blues Brothers and The Amazing Soul Revue. 

President Ann's theme for Wednesday evening is "Dressy for Jessie - with a hint of pink"  (Jessie's Fund logo has a hint of pink!)
